It has been six years since I started living in this house, yet sometimes when I wake up and step into the living room, I still wonder if this is really where I belong. I get that same feeling sometimes when I go on a date with my partner, return home, fall asleep together, and wake up. I thought I was moving in the way I thought and wanted, but was that actually not the case? I tried so hard to feel grounded, but is it still not working out? It has been quite a while since I started making time for work and living a regular life—at least I don't get invited anywhere—so why does everything feel so unfamiliar and empty? It has been about six months since I switched to this medication, so is it because my honeymoon is coming to an end? Amidst all this, the doctor only prescribed the evening medication today, so I just picked that up. "Actually, I don't know what to do." More precisely, I said, "Before, I thought the problem was that I didn't have work, but now I'm doing this and that, yet I honestly don't know what I should be doing or what is right." "But you have been going out lately?" "Yes." "Still, you've improved a lot." And so, just the evening medication was prescribed. The doctor wasn't wrong, nor is it anything serious; there are weeks when I am so busy that I need a day to do absolutely nothing at home. Nevertheless, something still feels deeply inconsistent. Now that I’m even attaching a name that isn't particularly significant to it, there are things I hesitate to talk about again. So, the things I end up repeating. It feels so much like my own deficiency, even though it’s not that it isn't. Today is the same. As always, I just want to be a little lighthearted and funny.
